Michael “P” Hayze- Michael started his professional career at the early age of 16 playing with Contender, a 9 piece ensemble consisting of a 6 piece rhythm section and 3 horns. Chicago is known for it’s Blues clubs and Stig cut his chops at the best Blues clubs Chicago had to offer. Performing at US. Blues in Old Town and B.L.U.E.S on Halstead, Michael became a fixture on the Chicago Blues scene. Playing every Wednesday night at US Blues with “Blues With a Feeling”, The Little Walter Story Author Scott Dirks and Evidence records recording artist Melvin Taylor, Michael developed his bluesy style. Moving to Ohio in 86’, Stig left the music scene to pursue a broadcasting career. Early in the 90’s the call back to music was too strong to ignore. A Rock N Roll keyboardist was born. Learning the chops of Rick Wakeman, Gregg Rollie and Tony Banks, Stig was a founding member of Prime Suspects and blazed a trail on the Columbus music scene that has become legendary. And now as a member of THESE GUYS LIVE, Stig and the boys embark on a mission to blaze a new trail through the Columbus music scene. |
